Easter Egg Hunting

Tate, as you can see, very much enjoyed hunting for eggs this Easter. Last year, he was barely walking, but he had no trouble zeroing in on his targets this time around. Funny, though--a friend's daughter saw this video on facebook yesterday, and she apparently yelled to Tate "Egg! EGG!"offering him some help in his hunting, thinking he had missed one. He didn't, in the end, miss any of the eggs. He did enjoy breaking them open to find Sesame Street stickers and a couple of matchbox "chucks" (trucks).

Egg Hunt!

Tate got a head start on Easter today -- his class was invited to the university bookstore for a egg hunt. Super fun! I was wondering if he would get the idea, but pretty quickly they said, "okay, let's hunt for some eggs!" And Tate leapt up: "Eggs!" And proceeded to methodically work the shelves, finding eggs. Guess the Easter bunny needs to go to the store and get some quality goods for Sunday. I'll send her an email.
